Ray thanks for this series. It inspired DW and I to take a couple weeks next year for our anniversary and go up the 101 from the Redwoods north. The lighthouse was the clincher for her. For me I think it was watching Angie’s nose just going crazy. A true symbol of adventure.
On our annual Spring Break exercise the camper and stock it up for season. This year we added a day in Idaho Falls, so Darlene and I could attend a trauma conference there (we are both volunteer EMTs). That created a first for us, Walmart camping. It wasn’t bad. Now we’re at Hill AFB’s FamCamp where we stock the food, deep clean the camper,…[Read more]
@lytlej Thanks for the tip on the minuteman missile site. Will have to check it out.

@eddie Have read about you guys for awhile. Really admire your adventurous spirit and you being from Wyoming helps as well. My wife grew up literally at the State Parks. Hi Jim welcome to the RVHH. there is a good info and great people on here.
I see your from Star Valley I use to live in Jackson about nine years ago moved to Seattle now. Still have family there and friends there, some live in Alpine.-
Great to meet you. The valley is a great place to live. But definitely plan on being at least a snowbird one day. If you lived in Jackson you know what I mean. Ever since being in the Middle East the winters have been sure seemed longer.

welcome to Wyoming Your only about 3 1/2 hours from us we are at the summer range on the family ranch up by the Devils Tower.. Casper is a windy city. I went to school there. Aileen and the gang
We lived in Casper in the early 90’s. No wind today though. The game was good but blazing hot. The only cold one at a high school game is shave ice and water. Gonna go fish the Miracle Mile tomorrow and Monday. Supposed to be the best fly fishing in the state.
Was 97 in northeastern Colo. yesterday supposed to be the same today. Keep in touch on the fly fishing, will be going next weekend with the kids for fathers day.
