Our solar is doing great. Eddie setup a super system.  Being a CPAP user it’s performing great. Had a cloudy day yesterday so it only got back to95% after pulling it down to 84% yesterday and very limited sun. We run a nuwave plate, coffee make is a one cup kurig and we made five cup. Made toast with out two slice toaster. Just amazed how the system is performing.  Thanks to Eddie, I can’t say enough thanks. He knows his stuff. Install two more Trojan t-105s. And noticed the tri-metric showed we only user 6% during the 8 hrs it was on. It’s cloudy today again so we will see how it does with limited sun. We are totaling boondocking in Arapahoe Nation Forest  at Columbine GG. If you need a good solar system Eddie’s the man.

Wow, Thanks Rush & Ray! I only want to do work that will help people “Truly” boondock. I’ve herd of so many horror story’s of that solar job that went bad. And a system that can’t be used without turning on the generator most of the day.  I tried to help Rush and Lola learn to use their system and how to understand the battery % info, to keep on boondocking down the road. I think most install the system and send the RVer down the road without teaching them how to work it. Like climbing in to the space shuttle with out the manual.

Hi Larry, we are up here in the NE corner of Wyoming near Devils Tower until November. Then we will be heading SW to Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, & Utah, ?++. If you are interested in a update to your system just ask.

    Thanks again Rush & Ray!

    Happy Trails!!!

Wow, you sound like a travelling HandyBob. Do you sell or take what people bring to you for an install?

Bob is the master, I am only the apprentice. He has been doing it for a LOOOONG time!

I would love to make it a traveling profession, along with RV repair. Only if I can install a good working systems and help them to learn how to use it in a “Real World” boondocking camp.As for installs of solar equipment, I like the RV owner to get the big ticket items and I can supply the small parts and supply’s. I do lean toward better quality equipment ( This dose not always mean the most expensive) but if you install junk, no mater how good you do it, it is still junk.

    Happy Trails!!!:bye:

Bill, Eddie is a first class guy. We contacted him and worked out the logistic so we could be at the Ranch and do our install. I can say now we have only had the install one week we are very pleased with our setup. Lola and I enjoy the boondocking much more since we have the solar. This morning I woke to 96% battery bank and cooked on our Nuwave induction top 4slices of bacon , two eggs , got out the toaster and down 3slices of toast and made 3 cups of coffee and bank dropped to 91%. This was at 10 am. By 2 pm I was back at 98%. And that is with a cloudy in and out sunshine.  I use a CPAP machine and now that I have 6 batteries it drops on 4% battery over a 8 hr night.  I am very pleased with all. If you like you can call us at 252-341-6779. We are out of cell range but if I get a message I’ll return the call.

Hey Eddie and Aileen,I tried to send you a private message and I don’t think it went thru.I was out there in Sheridan a few weeks ago and hoping to meet you folks then keft my laptop at home,so maybe next time.I’m bringing a 4 wheeler to a ranch out in SE Wyoming next week and then over to Idaho and back to North Dakota.
Like some others here,I sure would like to get your help ( I’ll pay you of course ) in installing a solar setup in our 31 footer. This rig has none right now and we are strictly boondockers.Let me know either way and hopefully we can get together one of these days.
    Safe travels,Trip and Lisa

Howdy Trip and Lisa, Haven’t heard from you guys in awhile. Sorry we did not get your PM, I had someone else send one and it did not come thru also. I think the the internet gremlin gets hungry and eats e-mails also. I will PM our contact info and if you don’t git it, get with us. We can come up with something that will work out. We are in the NE corner of Wyoming 15 miles west of the Devils Tower. We will be here until early November, then we will be heading to the Desert SW. Hope we can meet-up love to see you guys!

    Happy Trails!!!

Well we just spent 3 weeks Boondocking. Two weeks at one CG and 1 wk at another. The solar worked great and 3 wks at it taught us a lot. We keep up with things and now now our limits on things. Its been so nice. Water was available and that was as Eddie an Aileen schooled us on a very important part. We had 90% batteries this morning and have had clouds all day sun for only 30 mins. , solar recharged to 100%. We are just so pleased how we still get imput on the cloudy days. I just can’t say it enough. We have discovered a new lifestyle. Its like none other.
