This morning after a very raining night here on the Tyee Spit in Campbell River, Vancouver Island BC. I spied two bald eagles hanging out ground level in the estuary near our campsite.
Usually, the bald eagles look so perfect and majestic but this pair looked like they had a rough night.

We are really enjoying…[Read more]

Check this out. it is right up your ally, mine too until I saw the price

Yes! It has a pretty good sized Lithium battery in there. I was contacted to possibly do a review but they declined my terms. I figured with all the free promotion of their Renogy solar panels they’ve gotten out of me they should be giving me one. Lucky I guess as I have no clue where I would put it. haha

@raytronx hi ray, it nice to meet some one who is on the road full time and posts his adventures. i have subscribed to a few full time RVer you tubers and yours seemed to be more realistic and down to earth with accurate information on the life stile. the one thing that is lacking is information on how you get your income. I am retired from a city…[Read more]

Have you checked into workamping? A lot of different type work there. How about working the Beet Harvest in the fall. From our studies theres a ton of stuff for full timers. Just got to do some work (haha ugly word these days) and research. We just retired in July 2015 and not yet ready to return to work.

Made it into 391 pieces, took nearly 3 hours to complete. Sue will probably remake it to 900 pieces, she has much better eyesight than I do. Thanks!

I didn’t know it was so hard to go camping in Canada. No wander you come to the US.
-
I think it has to do with the short camping season. Everyone wants to go at the same time but not enough sites, since it costs too much to run them. It’s much the same at places like Yellowstone, Zion and Yosemite in the US and FLA state parks for instance

At one of the campgrounds affected by this in Kelowna they are asking for photo id that matches your reservation. If you don’t have photo ID to match your reservation you don’t get to camp. On May long weekend they did turn 2 families away that bought scalped camping spots
