No, it is written by some full timers going on 10 years now, They have work camped quite a bit.

Not much has changed with work camping. Usually you get a full hookup RV spot in exchange for a certain number of hours worked. Sometimes you get perks like free propane or a small wage. Several members here are doing it right now, but if your looking for alot of info and very current real world info check out one of the Facebook groups like https://www.facebook.com/groups/weloveworkamping
Myself it’s to much work for the money for the most part and we like to have flexibility to move. But some folks love it, keeps them busy and they get to stay in great locations for free. I would love to do it in some choice US National parks but as a Canadian I can’t.

NO question is dumb! Your question has helped us in finding that facebook page! So I thank-you for that “Dumb” question. We are looking into workamping to supplement our Fulltime income. We own a Dance Studio and don’t want to run another business on the road. We’d rather work a few hours and leave it when we go back to the RV. What’s so cool about Fulltiming is there are so many different options – you’ll find what fits your personality and style! Go with your heart!!- Nancy
Uh oh… my personality and style is basically lazy! I guess that’s why I’m afraid to retire. I always hear people are busier AFTER they retire than before!
Honestly, I don’t think people are any busier after retirement… just busier doing what they want to do rather than what they have to do!! I have an uncle that replied when asked how retirement was that he has no idea where he found time to work full time!! And that he has never enjoyed himself more! The interesting part is that we should not pattern our retirement after someone else (unless that someone is doing EXACTLY what we want to do) but that we need to go our own way and share our stories with one another to encourage each other.
