Here’s a pretty good link to Chorizo- what it’s made of, etc.

Chorizo and corn tortillas.
Hi All,
Ray, I think this is right up your alley. My back up monitor just went out. Is there a place that would simply fix it or do I need to order a new one? Also, it’s just a b/w one…can I get a color model or do the cameras have to be changed as well? Where is the best place you know of to order an older model monitor (Voyager) just…[Read more]

I saw this today in the RV Travel tips: http://www.vintagecampertrailers.com/
I think it’s one of the neatest sites I’ve seen dedicated to vintage trailers. Check out all the links in there, I think you’ll be amazed at what’s available.

I saw this site in Today’s RV Travel Tech Tips:
http://rv-roadtrips.thefuntimesguide.com/2007/09/checklists_rv_checklist.php
It is the most complete source I’ve ever seen for this type of thing. You could customize any one of them for your own needs. Boy, today in the S.F. Bay Area it will be over 100 degrees!

Thanks to both of you guys! Roger, the pictures are great, the rig is stored off site right now but we’ll be up there during the week of the 4th. I might dive into this then. The display is housed in the “one place” panel that has all my other monitors and controls (for tank levels, generator functions, etc.) I think I’ll have to remove that…[Read more]

Hi Ray,
Thanks a million for responding. The only info. I have is provided here: http://www.flemingsalesoem.com/intellitec/PDF/53221241.pdf
My Winnebago owners case is very complete but as you know, it doesn’t go into any great technical troubleshooting. I thing you are right on as far as troubleshooting the problem, I’m just afraid to…[Read more]

Here’s a spot we’ve been going to constantly for over 15 years. The only one that has full hook ups that sits right on the Sacramento River. I’m just going to include the link because the photographer does a much better job than me.

Hello,
Could someone let me know weather I move the thermistor up or down on the cooling fin to lower the temp in the lower fridge box? I’ve looked all over the web and so far, no luck.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Could someone tell me which direction I need to move the thermistor on the Dometic fridge fin to make the lower box cooler? I can’t find this anywhere on the web.
Thanks in advance!

Ray,
Thanks for writing about your jouney south…my sister and brother-in-law are in Lake Havasu City and they say the weather is great. We hope to join the snow birds later- after New Years and hope we can find a spot! (Ours is rented through March…maybe I can talk my wife into boondocking if need be).
Anyway, Merry Christmas to you both…[Read more]

Thanks Drew, Lake Havasu is a nice area we drove up thru there from Quartzsite on the way to Las Vegas last year. Stay a couple nights at I nice BLM boondocking location just as you are leaving the north end of town to the right called Craggy Wash. Drove a little ways up and you hardly new you were anywhere near civilization but only 5 mins from…[Read more]

@drew Great advice, I re-posted in into the RV Newbies forum so more may see it. Ourselves we use our Ipad and customize a list to our setup. Anne always reads it off before leaving. Saved us a few times.
