:bye: :bye:  Aren’t they greatRay…we mix them with regular peanuts so that they last longer. Just ran out / ate the last lot and need to get some more. Have you found any Ray and if so what kind of store did you find them in.

Picked them up at the California Fruit Depot. Great little farm store right around the block from the Orange Grove RV Park in Bakersfield. They have an awesome selection of all kinds of munchies. They also have tasting samples of almost everything in the store and are dog friendly.

I’ve seen them in Walmart too.

I like crackers and cheese with wine while in the RV or on Happy Hour. Bob is a pretzel, chips, pop secret popcorn and peanut kind of guy. NOM NOM – Nancy

    Chili Cheese Dip

    1 pkg cream cheese (softened)

1 can chili (I like to use Stagg vegetarian chili)

Shredded cheddar cheese (about 1 1/2 cups)

Spread softened cream cheese evenly over the bottom of a shallow baking dish (about 12″x9″) I like to use the foil disposable ones.

Spread the can of chili over the cream cheese

Top with a generous layer of shredded cheese (mix of shredded cheeses works well too)

Bake at 350 until cheese is hot and bubbly, about 40 minutes.

Serve with corn chips…the “scoop” type work well.

    Yum!

Lauren, We had them for the first time as an appetizer at the Cigar City Brewing Co. in Tampa Fl. You cut them the same as French fries only you use Yucca root (can be found in the produce section of most grocery stores) even Wal-Mart. They are a little starchier than potatoes in texture, a nice snack with a good pale ale.

Yucca fries sounds really good, will have to see about them next time we go grocery shopping.  We also like sausage and cheese balls. straight from the oven!
