I installed a Kodiak disc brake system on my 2011 Montana fiver a few years back. What a difference! I will never again own an RV that doesn’t have disc brakes. They are awesome. About $1700 when all said and done. Installing the rotors, calipers is quite easy and straight forward. Installing and wiring the electric over hydraulic activator equipment can be a bit challenging. PostScript (afterthought!)
When ordering parts, get the rigid brake line kit for the main lines and transition to short flex lines at each wheel. I used rubber flex lines throughout with good results, however the “experts” say that rigid lines yield noticeably quicker brake response . Can’t imagine it getting much better! Good luck.

Just finished installing new brake pads, rotors and calipers all around on my 2008 Ford F250 HD tow vehicle. Spent most of the egg money. Had to skip a few camping weekends to catch up on $$$$. Stops on a dime though .

Where was this guy?
In our back yard. You can see the rear end of our RV in the background. The back yard abuts a wildlife conservation area. We average about 1visit or so per week, usually the day before we put out the trash for pickup. These guys are smart and make the rounds when the pickings are the best.
