Awesome, sounds like you are really liking the new lifestyle, nice to have a state like South Dakota, wish being a full-time RVer was that easy in Canada.

-
Hi Marsha & Dewey, we are on a ranch just into Wyoming from where you are 15 miles west of the Devils Tower. Aileen’s family started the Spanish Mustang Registry back in 1957, some of the SMR horses are at Spanish mustang sanctuary.
We also have good friends in the town of Belle Fourche, SD. A nice town north of SpearFish,SD.
Happy Trails &…[Read more]-
Our September trip is going to take us to South Dakota on our way to the Badlands/Mount Rushmore, etc. We are excited as we’ve never seen this part of the country before.
-
If you have time be sure to go about an hour south of rapid city, to hot springs, SD. Fun little town, has a really neat dinosaur dig, hot springs fed swimming pool and a really neat wild horse sanctuary just out of town, southwest.
-
I love the suggestions you are sending me!! We have decided to save Chicago for on our way back rather than being there Labor Day weekend. Our plan is to head to The Badland/Rapid City area and yes, we have time to take advantage of little towns such as this.
We do wonder if you’ve been on the road between Sheridan and Cody and if so, which…[Read more]

good luck Buddy!!!

Angie had a weird growth on a toe this spring. It end up shrinking away and eventually her whole nail came off. I think she may have stepped on a cactus thorn, but the vet never could find anything.
The nail is all grown back now and toe looks fine. Was real strange.. -
Poor thing I’ll be praying for a speedy recovery for Buddy …..

Sounds kinda like what was going on with buddy, but not the shrinking part…

Sounds like a great upgrade! We’ve been traveling thru some very wet and humid states and have also noticed the walls get wet if I have things to close to the walls especially in the closets.

We are in northern Wisconsin…Rhinelander. Starting in a coat to coast park on Thompson lake, Bay view resort. We really like it, so do Pumpkin and Buddy. Lots of chipmunks! This area would be beautiful in the fall. Pic of Wisconsin wildflowers. Poor Buddy has a tumor on his toe, we have decided to have it removed whole we are here. Hopefully all…[Read more]

Never had a wasp problem as long as I have lived here, but probably cause everything is blooming and all the wonderful smells, time for them to be out and about. Aileen
-
Hi aileen, never thought you were so close. Montana really isn’t that far away though is it. Dewey has been singing the theme song on every hike.lol love your area. We will be back. Leaving today for rapid city …. Talk soon, Marsha ps no wasps.
-
Well Montana is still 30 miles from us, but we are in Wyoming. Well Rapid City is still only a 150 miles from us. Well have a good time. Aileen and the gang

Hi George, hope you get this I’m getting some kind of fatal error message. No dogs are allowed on trails, federal monument or parks I don’t think any of them allow dogs. The campground is dog friendly. There is a KOA just at the entrance of the park, for another camping option. Have fun visiting this wonderful place.
-
We watched the movie Sunday night on TCM. First time Lola has every seen it in its entirety. We look forward to a pic of it that close too. It’s such a cool peak.
-
Yeah that is the movie that made us famous in our little corner of the globe, wasnt quite so touresty, but things happen, best time for us to go is in the fall, the koa is a nice place also. Aileen
Staying at the Belle Fourche state campground inside the devil’s tower park, nice campground, no hookups, camp has bathrooms, no showers, $12.00 a night. This place is awesome!!!!

Hi Alien, we are very excited to go to South Dakota, become residents and stop giving Calif or money. Where is this bear country, sounds fun, I think I remember a post of your about it. How is the boondocking, I have done a little research, didn’t see a whole bunch of blm, got any locations we should check out.
