    We do not have a switch, that I am aware of. I’ll have my husband double check. We are dropping it off at the dealers today and hopefully it won’t take them long to find the drain! Hourly costs can add up!

    Napa couldn’t even test the battery because they said something was still running. Thats when they labeled it a parasitic drain. We haven’t tried turning it off and restarting it right away, afraid that it won’t start back up and we would be stranded. We stopped last night and needed a jump this morning to get us on the road.

    We haven’t updated in awhile where we have been! We just spent some time in Texas with family and ended up taking a day trip to Fredericksburg! We loved it!

    We have a 2011 Forest River Solera on a Sprinter chassis. Just since last week we have been having issues with our vehicle battery. Every time we stop and shut off the vehicle we have to get a jump to restart.     Thanks Rich! Does sound like a great idea to get our feet wet. I will be looking into this option as well! I think just having enough to charge our computers and have some light at night works great for us.

    Here is a photo pf our site in Joshua Tree. If you need a place that feels secluded, has just enough service to work, and some amazing sun rises and sunsets… Site 76 in Indian Cove Campground is the place :)
