Summer is finally here and we are hitting the camp grounds. Wife and I have been out four times with the trailer. The last two I have hooked the boat up to take along. We were able to take out 6 year old grandson with us and he had a blast. His favorite thing was the TV and driving the boat. Getting to know the fifth wheel during this summer…

@raytronx Ray, have you ever been to the Meteor Crater? It looks like its 30 or so miles east of Flagstaff. Google earth mode shows it as a big hole in the ground. Looks like a place to visit.

No, we missed that one. I heard the visitor center and presentations are quite interesting.

Hi Kim, we have been in and out on our internet for a few months but we did stop at the meteor crater last month. We first stopped for our 6 year old daughters school studys, but after we got there it was teaching us all. What a blessing to have one of the best preserved earth impact craters in our own back yard. If you look on our albums on…[Read more]

Glad you enjoyed the crater. Thought it would be worth stopping by. Next time we are in the area we will make sure to visit. Thanks for sharing.

@twoyoopers We noticed you,too have a Jayco! How do you like it?
-
Well, we bought it late in the fall and the dealer is storing it for the winter. Michigan winters are long and cold. Hope to pick it up at the end of April. Its the 2014 Eagle HT, 27.5 RLTS unit. Look forward to hitting the campgrounds around the UP of Michigan for the summer to get us up to speed on using the fifth wheel

Is this your first RV or a replacement/upgrade?
-
This will be our first fifth wheel. Had a couple travel trailers. Did camping thru out the U.P. for years with the boys (3) until they decide they were to old to camp with mom and dad. We did many trips thru out the USA after they moved out and visited 31 National Parks, staying in motels most of the time. Decided to retire this year and with a…[Read more]

Sounds awesome! No doubt some campground will need LED upgrades or somehow you can ply your trade! Many RV’ers will need electrical advice from time to time.

@raytronx Hi Ray,
I just registered on your RVHH and had a couple questions. Naturally I went right to the photography page and noticed that a person can download your photos. Are these full size pictures? Do you copyright all your pictures? Are all pictures, no matter who puts them on here, able to be downloaded? Just a few concerns I have…[Read more]

Welcome Kim.

All the pix on RVHH get optimized for the web and scaled automatically to 1024 on the long side, so there are no full size photos. This helps the site load time and keeps my website hosting storage costs down.
All photos are able to be downloaded. It’s a loosing battle to try and stop photos from being downloaded, there are ways…[Read more]
