If  this is wrong Ray then delete it. Thought I’d ask folks to share there knowledge if they would please. We retire in 7 months and our first adventure is going to bring us out near Quartzsite. We have plans to load up BB and Sam(F/W and Truck respectfully)  and my mother, sometime in June and head to Glacier NP, Yellowstone and Tetons. Don’t have any solar and look to purchase two small generators. Going to try to copy Rays battery setup using his youtube video. We have a similar Cougar except we have the fireplace in ours. Have upgraded all the lights to LED. Got so much to do to prep for the trip. We need to increase our fuel cell on Sam. He only has a 25 gal cell. Have looked into that and will upgrade to a 51 gal. Need air bags account with camper on truck it still runs a little low in front. Have raised the hitch to last notch and its still low in front. Got to figure out a hole lot in a short time and as you all already now, we’ll probably go shoot wish we would have done this or done that or brought this and left that.  Well on with the adventure you all. Can’t wait to see the Wild Wild West.

    Nothing wrong at all. :)

Quartzsite has most things like fuel, sani and garbage dumps, fresh water fills, propane. laundromat available right around town. The only thing it is lacking in my mind is a large grocery store. they have a few small ones but selection is limited and prices high.So stock up on the way in. Most people do a food run once in a while to a larger town 20 miles or so away like Parker or Blythe.

Many people like to stay in the LTVA area – http://www.blm.gov/az/st/en/prog/recreation/camping/LTVA/laposa.html

Cost a little money but you have some services.

Usually a little cleaner than average (I hope!).

Now this is a fancy outhouse. Motion sensor interior light for night, tiled counter and floor, some tasteful decor items.

Ok, that scared me a minute.  I didn’t see TP until pic 3 and was worried that we were all gonna have to share that towel…

Somewhat gross! I’m sure the paper towel would make a much better and sanitary substitute. Emergency seat insulation, just to settle your curious mind. Any other weird mind things you would like answered?

You don’t like what I did with my outhouse? I thought it was quite unusual, (and very clean!)

    Clean. (check) Unusual. (check)

I was worried about reading material.  Do we have some available?  Or is it BYOB?

You can’t see it in the photo’s, but there is a second shelf under the counter for reading material. Came with a large supply of old “Western Horseman”. I prefer Readers Digest.
