Wow, I want to find that road on my motorcycle! I don’t think I would want to do it with my RV though. I think if I had to do it in any kind of rig, I’d rather do it in an 18-wheeler with lots of gears and the jake brakes. My RV doesn’t have all that. But I have to say, I highly doubt that road is on a truck route, not with 15-20 miles per hour…[Read more]

Hi, if you are looking for boondocking spots on the beach on the Texas Gulf Coast, I would suggest Magnolia Beach near Indianola, Texas. It is fabulous! It’s a crushed Shell Beach so you can actually drive on the beach. I have even ridden my motorcycle up and down the beach a few times.

Thanks for the link to the lighthouses, Ray. I plan on seeing as many lighthouses as possible along the way. I’ve been planning a lighthouse tour of the northwest coast for quite some time, I can’t wait to see the plan come to fruition.
