@louisianajeff , after I turn in my proverbial washroom key Monday, we’re getting a tile floor installed in kitchen ,then we’re off to No Arizona to a National park campground about 7000 feet elevation. Cool pines, wind blows every day, maybe even get a rain storm while we’re there. First time we’ve been there. Plan is a couple days, but if it…[Read more]

I’m sooo glad you posted this. I need to do the very same thing to my seams on my roof. I have a leak and am not sure where it’s coming from (I’m real suspicious of the taillight assembly though) so I was going to re-seal every seam including around the tail and marker lights. I was afraid I would have to remove years of old sealant to get to…[Read more]

Get ‘er done! New fuel & air filter, new fuel pump, and new control module in and generator is running. I’m gonna let it run for a couple of hours with the A/C running.
Very interesting job. Not difficult, but a little challenging due to the small space you have to work in. AND throw in another rain delay AFTER taking it apart.…[Read more]
A lot of rain is coming to Texas/Louisiana area in the next 2 or 3 days or so. Keep an eye out if you are in the area or traveling thru. http://trackthetropics.com/invest91/

We just spent a weekend in Breaux Bridge, La. We met up with some friends from Baton Rouge area who got us started on our journey of owning our own camper. I sometimes don’t know whether to thank them or curse them… LoL
Anyway… We were supposed to go up near Dallas for a fair, dry camping. This would be the first time for that adv…[Read more]

I haven’t gotten a chance to do this yet, weather & life have gotten in the way. I did find another leak in the back of the RV, haven’t found the source yet. I’ve determined I probably (and am going to) need to re-seal all the seams and exterior lights (tail lights, marker lights, etc…). Even the sealer under the trim molding. This will be…[Read more]

Note to the site admin. It would be really nice if when we click a link in someone’s post that it would open in a new tab or window.

I’ll look into what it would take, but I know some people prefer the choice rather than a forced open in new tab by default. Most browser systems let you choose to do it, like on Windows just right click the link and open in new window or tab. on Ipad I believe it is tap and hold to bring up a menu for open new tab. Not sure on phones…

I normally work on a Chromebook. I can do that buy with no mouse I just have to hold the Ctrl button. I forget a lot…

I did get my PC setup today, it’s nice having a real mouse again.
