Rick – trying to figure out what is inside that open hatch – outdoor cooking?

    • Rick replied 5 months, 3 weeks ago

Actually it’s the state of the art 1996 Outdoor Entertainment Center. Basically it’s a hatch that opens up with a foldout shelf for TV to sit on a plug in a antenna hook up. Lol

  • No it doesn’t come with a grate but you can find a grate at Waly World or  Cabela’s for a few bucks. Here’s one I just found online that’s available at target  through eBay for 80 bucks  and the legs folds down to make it even more po…[Read more]

  • The one we have is a propane fire pit  which produces no sparks or embers, this is why we can use it during a burn ban. The one you were looking at is a wood  fueled fire pit and would not be allowed to be used during a burn ban at least up here in Manitoba Canada.

This is the one that we have :

  • Thanks guys

Ray they are Outland portable fire pits. Costco had them on for 90 bucks last week. Most places they’re $130 to $160. There was a fire ban on this past weekend so no open fires but these are allowed and you can still roast marshmallows over it!

  • We took our new rig out to the local KOA this weekend with our friends and their brand spanking new 33′ travel trailer for  the inaugural shack down cruises of the two units. All went well, everything worked and no surprises. Our new second hand 26′ rig with a slideout is unbelievably more comfortable then our old 19′ one. The whether was nice…[Read more]

  • My wife and I are heading to the Black Hills this September/October for 10 days and were wondering what are some of your favorite campgrounds in that area.  I’ve looked on different websites for ratings but they seem to range all over the place for the the same campground and it’s hard to say who is telling the truth and who is just trying to…[Read more]

  • I love the RV Fairy!!! Look forward to seeing the pic.

the wife and I are heading down to the hills in SD this fall and where thinking of stoping in Devils Lake for a couple of days. What’s some of good campgrounds around there Trip and Lisa?

  • Thanks guys for the kind words.

The wife and I are taking the new rig out for its  shakedown cruise this weekend. The ground is still frozen solid up here so no sewer and water, just electric service available. Shouldn’t be a big deal as this rig has a 55gl fresh water tank, we camped for 5 days in the old 19″ rig and it only had a 18gl tank.…[Read more]

  • Our newer rig.

Its a 1993 26′ Wilderness 25P5 in excellent shap, we just replaced the carpet with vinyl plank flooring just to freshen it up and make it easier to clean. It’s got a lot more room then the old 19′!

  • Lookin good guys! And no SNOW THERE!!! Nice
