Sorry I haven’t been around this summer to keep this going, We are back in civilization and heading south. Stopped over in Overton, Nevada to get a little work done on the Dodge and are spending some time in a park (god-forbid) but we don’t know exactly how long the mechanic will have. Met some great people here and dozen or more from Idaho, Yeah.
Headin South, Staying in Overton, Nevada for a couple weeks. Found a great spot and meeting fine folks.

Does any one know if there is a way to stay in touch using an app on our smart phone. We have found this summer that out west, it’s not unusual to not have internet but sometimes we have at least 1 bar phone service. I don’t have the plan or money to burn on a hotspot. Just wanting to keep better in touch.

Quick update: I know it’s been 2 months now since we have checked in. But we made the break and have been summering out in the High Uintas of Northern Utah. OK Tatreheads, Here is the latest. 9 days to go to Liberation Day. May32nd and we blow this chicken coop. It has been a real adventure so far just getting to this point. Never realized how much crap one can horde in 15 years. But it’s all gone now. Yeah.
26 days and counting to the big day. Have the home in almost tip-top shape, one more minor repair this weekend and it is good to go. The last 3 months we have been busy selling off (Junk) and or giving a ton of it away. I didn’t realize that we had collected so much Stuff over the past 18 years. Awesome! Took us a while to purge too, and then after a year of so of full timing we did another major one. Now we have just a small rented storage room.

I am going to get into downsizing next week. Just needed to enjoy this first week of retirment. Camping next weekend (Victoria Day Holiday ) We will be at Paradise RV Park in Parksville. BC.

We are also selling off what we can with all our stuff in the storage trailer.
I had a lot of stuff from our old business that I need to sell.

Hi Markus & Debra! No we haven’t been to Meeks Cabin Reservoir yet. The closest we have been is the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area east of Meeks Cabin. We been all around it but not to that spot.
Hope you have a good time dry camping out there. Give us a review of the place after your done, it might be neat place to visit.
