@bobandnancy Hi Bob and Nancy, thanks for the request!

@dmtravis Hi Marsha and Dewey, thanks for the request! We’re looking forward to sharing adventures with you soon!!!

We’re looking at generators. Good Sam’s Club has Champions on sale. We have been looking at Honda’s because we have one for the house. Anyone have experience with the Champions???

I saw that…looks like a good deal. Interested to see everyone’s opinions…

I have a pair of Champions. Have used for the past three years. Very happy with them. They are slightly louder than a Honda but much cheaper. You have to make sure they are the “Inverter” type model or else they are very loud construction type. Big difference there.

We decided to get one of the tankless hot water systems and the Progressive surge protectors. Camping World, Hanover, PA, had the best price so we went up weekend before last to have it installed and decided to go to Gettysburg and spend a couple of nights to try it out. Well we didn’t have any hot water…Doug started reading the instructions and…[Read more]
@eddie Hi guys, thanks for the friend request! This is Vicki and I’ve been snooping around on your wall and I have to ask what is a shakedown??

Hiya Vicki! Your shakedown is the first time out in your RV to “shake out” all the bugs and figure out what you need to take with you.
-
Hey Norma, thanks for the info…I will be so happy when we do an official shakedown!! We just had a 13ft gate put in our son’s fence, so I’m hoping we can move the 5th wheel to here this weekend. I’m looking forward to stocking her up!
-
Wahoo! Getting to the exciting part!!
-
i thought a shakedown is when Norma threatens me lol
-
No, James, that’s a “takedown!”

Yeah Norma is right it is something that we have been waiting to hear Norma has done, but not yet, yes it is a first trip to see how everything works and what you need and not, and just a first time run, and watch Norma she mightdo a takedown, with all this food. Ha Aileen

We a newbies! We bought a 38 ft DRV Mobile Suites last October. We’ve only been on 1 trip in it so far and plan to go full time when Doug retires this December. We sold our home and helped our son by a home and we are living with him until then. We’re really excited to get started and love all the information that everyone is providing.
