@toocats55 Hi Cheryl, Have you made it to the Island yet? We are staying down in hatteras vilage and repairing our 5er.( More like rebuilding it) Aileen and I go up the beach to KDH for Walle-World run every now and then, we would love to say hi sometime. I have been working lower end of the Island doing HVAC work.

Getting excited to move on to next job. Today is our last full day of workamping in Mission, Tx. After unlocking facilities tomorrow morning at 6am, we will turn in keys and and golf cart and finish packing and taking care other leaving chores. We have spent many vacations exploring the Oregon Coast and most recently spent 6 months workamping at Gold Beach for the winter 2012/spring 2013 season. My husband and I are full time workampers, currently working in Mission, Tx. We are finishing here in about 6 weeks and heading to our new job in Cape Hatteras, NC. Very excited to be spending the summer on the beach! Photo is outside our rig last summer at job in Idaho! IMG_1733

Welcome Cheryl, cool photo! Nothing better than summer near some water. My wife is an avid boater so we are always based near the ocean on Vancouver Island during the summers.

These two were regular visitors around the park, with the young one getting into quite a bit of mischief. Vancouver Island sounds great! We are from Central Washington, so we know the area. Spent last winter on Oregon coast near Calif border. We try to always be near water, but the best we could do this year is a swimming pool.

Hi Cheryl, sounds like fun, hope you enjoy your new work camp on the outer banks. Would like to go there sometime. The first trip my husband and I i together was to new Orleans, a whirlwind weekend by plane, can’t wait to go back via RV and really have the time to enjoy it.
Have great memories from New Orleans, fun town for sure and really cool history loved the old street cars and the FOOD!

Hi Cheryl, we are south of Rodanthe in Hatteras villiage on the island. You should enjoy the summer over here,the temp. is 75 and sunny out. Maybe we can stop and say hi some time,enjoy the beach before thay close it all down!?!?
We finally made it to the OBX and it is beautiful! We are in the process of training for our jobs here. Hi Cheryl, we are repairing our 5er and making ends meat with some HVAC work around south end of the island. Camp Hatteras is a nice outfit and has been remodeled not long ago.
