We have added, (after building), a wonderful new bed to our bunkroom! Our son has been sleeping on the J-Cube mattress right on the floor of the slide for the past year of living in and out of the RV. We found that being on Vancouver Island over the chilly, windy, wet months and him being right on the floor caused mould to grow under the mattress against the walls of the slide. So, while at home, we got to work and built him a platform for the mattress to sit up on. Underneath he now has tons of storage! It fits 3 of the long, flat clear totes as drawers and some extra space to add some smaller bins. Kind of like a captains bed.
Sounds like a great upgrade! We’ve been traveling thru some very wet and humid states and have also noticed the walls get wet if I have things to close to the walls especially in the closets.
