@easher Thanks for the information on the Canyonlands

Bev and I have returned from a trip we took to Utah. We visited Arches, Canyonland, Bryce, Capitol Reef, Zions National Parks. The parks were great and the sights were outstanding. Needless to say we had an electrical issue. I found that the power converter failed. We had 120VAC items but no 12VDC. Luckily I had placed my battery charger in the…

@easher Hi Ed, I was wanting to go to Utah and visit all the canyon land parks. Where did you stay? Is it better to stay at a central location with the RV and then go out with your truck? Glad you made it back safely.

We Stayed in Canyonlands RV for Arches and Canyonland the first day and night, Then we stayed at Ruby’s RV for Bryce. Then we stayed Zion River Resort for Zion. The last one at Zion River RV Resort was in Virgin, Ut and there was one that was closer. All had all hook ups. Caution: Bryce and Zion has a shuttle service. Bryce’s was not that good and…[Read more]

I have been following this blog for a little while and I have found the information and comments very informative. I am not a full time RV’er yet. Pinterest is good to follow. My wife does have a question. She would like to know the woman’s point of view on RV’n and living in such a small area and how does it effect the marriage.

If you like to “live alittle”, RVing is fun. Need to be flexable and of course, LOVE each other. Can even make a marriage better. If you don’t like changes, it may not be for you. Try it, might like it!

We have been living and traveling full-time in our fifth wheel since January 2015. We don’t fight anymore than we used to.. Lol I really like it. Please to clean. We didn’t sell our house, rented it, but some or gave away everything we couldn’t take with us. So far so good, not stressful, cheaper than living in house with mortgage. Lots more…[Read more]

Bruce and I have been doing this since last October. It is different to be with each other 24/7 but we also are camp hosts 3 days a week and that gets us away from each other and working with other camp hosts which is a lot of fun. When I just need some me time I go for a walk for 45 min. which helps a lot. Ya there are little things your spouse…[Read more]

Love Utah, but that would have been a little too hot for me. We have a single AC and it starts to not be able to cool the rig down to a comfortable level once it hits 90-95 outside. April and May seem to be a sweet time to visit.
The converter issue makes me think that having my solar panels is a good backup. If our converter fails the solar would…[Read more]
Were heading there the end of Sept. looking forward to this trip
Is it warm?
Been to the Arches, was nice, but a lot of it did not get to see, I had a knee hurting from hiking up Independence Rock in WY. so did not get to go in and see the good ones, but saw enough, Laura loved it. Was on in the 70’s when we were there. Kind of Like Ray, do not like to be places where it is real hot. Makes the poor AC work a little…[Read more]
For Canyon and Arches we stayed at Canyonland RV resort, for Bryce we stayed at Ruby’s RV Resort and for Zion we stayed at Zion RV Resort in Virgin. This one further away form the park and I know there is one that is closer, I just think of the name of it.
Probably the Zion Canyon Campground http://www.zioncamp.com/locations/utah-rv-campground-zion-national-park/
We have stayed there twice, nice and close to the park, there is a shuttle stop right out front.
