Great Olive store in Corning.

Yes, Stopped in there yesterday and have been snacking since. We are trying to get to Tucson and I think the traveling Gods are testing me. Blew a tire coming into town and tore up the undercarriage and side then woke up this morning with no water pressure and water running out of the bottom so back to Redding in the morning to camping world to…[Read more]

Sounds just like what we are looking for. It’s time to get away from the cold and rain of Washington and headed to Tucson in about 8 or 9 days to take in some preseason Soccer matches. This will be our first escape from winter so looking forward to it.

Thanks Ray, I Think that will work well. My biggest concern was to miss the traffic near LA but I wasn’t knowledge as to what passes would be better for towing. I knew you have made this trip a few times and would be a wealth of knowledge in this matter. Thanks Again

Any suggestions on towing friendly highways or passes to take from around Bakersfield to Tucson. There seem to be a lot of choices but which are best suited to towing a 5th wheel. Thanks

I looked at the link you mentioned and see that it is a separate plug that is jumpered. I made a extension cord and jumpered the male end and used it between the generator and the RV. Is that method OK
Kim Anderson replied to the topic Progressive Surge Protector in the forum Mods and Upgrades 5 months, 1 week ago
Thanks Ray I remember you saying something about this problem before but couldn’t remember the solution. I ended up calling Progressive today and they told me just what you said. Either buy a special plug from them, or make a plug and jump the neutral to the ground or ground the generator to the frame of the trailer. I built a plug and it works…[Read more]

I installed a hard wired Progressive Surge Protector into our Cougar last year and it has worked like it is meant to and I’m getting ready to head south to Arizona for a few days and bought a Honda 2000i to help when we aren’t in a FHU park but when I plug the RV into the generator I get a E2 code or open ground and the protector cuts out. I think…[Read more]
