Any suggestions on towing friendly highways or passes to take from around Bakersfield to Tucson. There seem to be a lot of choices but which are best suited to towing a 5th wheel.          Thanks

Thanks Ray, I Think that will work well. My biggest concern  was to miss the traffic near LA but I wasn’t knowledge as to what passes would be better for towing. I knew you have made this trip a few times and would be a wealth of knowledge in this matter. Thanks Again

This route should be pretty flat, especially once you get down to Quartzsite and will avoid large cities. The only big pass will be right away up to Tehachapi but it’s not too bad, just long coming out of Bakersfield.

Sounds just like what we are looking for. It’s time to get away from the cold and rain of Washington and headed to Tucson in about 8 or 9 days to take in some preseason Soccer matches. This will be our first escape from winter so looking forward to it.
