Yes, you are correct. My husband, who is an auto mechanic, said that it will be fine as long as you keep greasing it.

Sure enough. Winter is visiting us again. Chad says this winter is trying to kill us lol. We didn’t go far enough south. At least we got 3 good days of work in so we have some money coming in again. Next week is forecast to be in the 60’s so it will melt fast.

Good question! We keep ours in a trash bag that we put inside of a heated area until it thaws. It usually takes about an hour.

We feel your pain!!! We received about 2 inches more snow and the intense winds you described! Went out to shovel earlier and only lasted about 15 mins before face freezing up. 15 degrees now at sunset with the winds dying down it feels MUCH warmer!! Spring had better be right around the corner!!!

We hope so!!! What a bad winter for us to decide to RV in. We really didn’t believe we would have another bad winter like last year. But, you just can’t ever know these things…

Ain’t that the truth! Almost everyone we know in the Northeast was of the mindset that the weather wouldn’t be this tough 2 years running, but with global warming all bets are off! LOL! Next winter will be different as we will be free from my job and on the road full time. (somewhere warmer)

yes the PNW has had a very mild winter, some flowers are out, Rubarb is coming up. I do feel sorry for friends and family in the east. (My daughter in Kitamat got almost 5 feet of snow last week end. They are still digging out)

True! We don’t have a snowmobile, but we took a fun four-wheeler ride yesterday in the snow.

Usually the snow brings a bumper crop of spring flowers and deep green lawns so there is an up side!!

Snow! On the Sprinter!! Yay!
@ourrvlife After looking at your site I had a thought about your roof leaks. You seem to have sealed just about all you can but the problem could be the roof AC seal. The AC has a rubber foam type seal that if it hasn’t been replaced for years it could be leaking. The problem with RV roof leaks is that the water travels in the inner roof area and…[Read more]

Thank you. That’s an excellent suggestion. And with the areas where it is leaking, that could totally be it. Just not sure what we would need to do to fix that. Any ideas?
