I’m with you Nancy however have you seen how glazier’s lift big sheets of glass into place? Given the right conditions the suction cup can be pretty effective. Will definitely try these out for a few bucks.
Nothing to loose other than cleaning up some spilled potato salad.

Posted this recently on my blog. Has some pretty cool pictures of a older Airstream getting a huge makeover. http://travellog.servicemagnet.com/?p=103
Pretty amazing what some people are doing to older trailers.

Hi all, hope its okay to link to my own blog from here. I recently posted about an interesting accessory that you may find handy also. Essentially its a small bungee cord with suction cups at each end. May be quite useful for packing your fridge during travel.
I have not used them yet but do intend on ordering a few to try out. Will definitely…[Read more]

Ran across this beauty for sale.
According to the listing, the rig has been garaged and was never painted nor restored. With 61,308 miles on the clock, the gleaming rig started off with an opening price of $18,200 and closed on June 20 with a high bid of $22,110. Got cash? It may come up…[Read more]

Looks like a nice trip. I’ve never been through there either. My brother took that route on the way back to Alberta one year, said it was pretty curvy in spots, but gorgeous country.
-
My eldest daughter was camping (in a tent!!!) there last summer. Said it was absolutely beautiful. Minor issue with a bear – spent the rest of the night sleeping in the car. Lots of hiking trails, look out spots, etc. I’ll see if there is anything in particular she recommends.

Would appreciate any pointers, and should go get some bear spray.

did that trip a couple of years ago, very nice. if you have clear weather marble canyon campground is pretty spectacular as the sun goes down, sunlight reflects off the (marble?) cliffs. campground is close to hiway and most sites are small but if you are lucky and get there early there are a few sites you can just pull into. We came from the…[Read more]

I was not aware that a database of recalls, complaints, service bulletins and other issues was available for RV’s, alas I was wrong. Take some time to use this page and search for your vehicle. You may be surprised (hopefully not) that there are a few documented issues in which you were not…[Read more]

Had our first roadside experience a few weeks back. Nothing major, forgot my trailer keys at home, home being 90 miles away. Called Coach-Net and was in the trailer within 45 minutes. Good value for the money? Expectations exceeded! I hope to never use then again but if required I am confident it was money well spent.
The person we had on the…[Read more]

Changing it up this weekend. Leaving the trailer behind and heading to Vegas. Definitely going to check out the Valley of Fire and other parks while we are there. Maybe one day to wander through with the rig to stay a few days.

Have fun Rob.
If you can time your Valley of Fire visit to later in the day towards sunset, the landscape looks even more amazing as it lights up with the lower angled sun and the sandstone colors glow!-
Had a chance to visit the park and was absolutely blown away. I will definitely spend some time here in the future. What a surreal place in the middle of ‘nowhere’. Did not spend as much time as I would have liked but am happy we made the visit.
Sadly, I am back in the BC rain nursing a Nevada sunburn and for some reason a mild headache (not…[Read more]

Aft I posted I see your post. Interesting read Bob but only men were photoed and they appeared at wits end with work or unemployment and now are homeless. I think the author should have done better with the photos to go with the story.

Hey Spirit, check out the photographers site with the full display of photos, when you click on the photos you get the stories and on some audio.
