    Each snowbird season we are drawn back to our favorite places but also make a concerted effort to seek out new horizons. Last year was a banner year for that. In early spring, we pushed our way east as far as Texas then looped back through New Mexico and Utah before heading back up the coast to BC.

    As I look back on another amazing year of memorable camping spots I’ve picked out 10 of the coolest.

    2. City of Rocks, New Mexico
    3. Big Bend Ranch State Park, Texas
    4. Valley of Fires, New Mexico
    5. Bisti Badlands, New Mexico
    6. Valley of the Gods, Utah
    7. Trona Pinnacles, California
    8. Highway 101 Pull Out, Oregon
    9. Thunderbird RV Park, Vancouver Island
