Update,  I have it up and running but , there is a problem , namely the camera looses its signal or is it the receiver ( Rand McNally  GPS)

With the camera running the GPS sees the camera then it goes away momentarily . I called Tadi Bros today and they are going to ship out a couple antenna  extensions  to strengthen the signal .  I hope this does the trick . I have a 27 ft. Airstream  and they are not very reliable for transferring Wi-Fi signals through and because the antenna are mounted inside the trailer I don’t believe you get a strong signal as you do with  wireless cameras where the antenna are mounted with the camera .

Same goes with the GPS , it does not use its internal Wi-Fi but you add an extra antenna (supplied by the kit) that is plugged in before the signal input jack to the GPS . Oh and it has to have a separate power input supplied, so I bought a cigarette lighter plug to do the job. Consequently you have a few more wires to deal with   .

My initial thoughts are as I have read , ” The  Voyager wireless back up system is far more reliable and a cleaner install”, but also  $800 US, ouch , I think  $1200 Can!!!

If all else fails I still can use the camera (its high quality) and run a wire kit to the truck, but that is drilling a few holes in my trailer and I not a fan of doing that.

    Keep you posted.
