Our 5th wheel will be in winter storage for about 6 months. It snows here in Taos, NM. Any advice on tires? I’ve heard jack up the trailer and take the tires off or move the trailer every 3 months to prevent flat spots? Any advise? Thanks

My own opinion is the jacking could cause more harm than it’s worth. I would put the tires on wood planks and inflate them to max then, move them every month or so if possible to avoid a flat spot.

Thanks Ray for your opinion. Since we don’t have a truck we will have to jack up the tires and rotate them since we can’t move it. What do people do who are not where their trailer is I wonder?

How about try and by an old set of crappy rims and worn out tires cheap and use them as the storage tires? Then pull off and store the real rims and tires covered up inside the trailer.
