So Ray tells me that if he was a Gin drinker his choice would be Bombay Sapphire.

It tis made with ten exotic botanicals: almond, lemon peel, licorice, juniper berries, orris root, angelica, coriander, cassia, cubeb, and grains of paradise  The spirit is triple distilled using a carterhead still, and the alcohol vapors are passed through a mesh/basket containing the ten botanicals, in order to gain flavor and aroma.  As with all Gin, the juniper flavor must dominate.  Ok that’s pretty hard to beat but being frugal, have you ever flavoring your own — it’s fun

Buy a cheap bottle of distilled gin, add some clean juniper berries and any other spices, put it in a pretty decanter bottle — A designer gin tailored to your taste.  It will really spice up a Green Dragon.

Bombay costs more than three times as much… that’s an extra nights stay at a campground!

    Cool idea.

Then forum software is set to a default 5 minutes for editing, I increased it to 60 minutes.

In this same vein, I understand that if you run cheapo vodka thru a Brita filter, it’s indistinguishable from Grey Goose. Just sayin’…
