Not yet Norma will post when I have the kitchen done. Only draw back is the weight if you dothe whole trailer as thyare not light?
Yup…I heard of a few people who had the same problem in town…local RV dealer is doing some of the repairs…mine is small so I am doing it myself
Hi Bob,I’ve herd vinal planks are good and flexable so don’t crack like there older cousin. I priced some at Home Depot for around $1.97 a Sq. foot. Read some RVers going this route because of the stuff is a floating floor. There is a couple Utube RV installs out there and looks appealing.

RE: the weight issue. My thinking is…if I’m replacing carpet and possibly a pad…I’m betting that weights more than the new flooring. That’s my thinking…and I’m sticking to it.

Norma,Somthing to chew on carpet+padding+dirt+sand+moisture+?=alot more whight than vinal planks or parka flooring in the long run.
If we are looking at our wishlist then I’m goning for broke and dreaming of my bare feet in this fancy outfit.

I hope to purchase a Honda eu 3000 for boondocking. Possibly a small toad, pickup with a cap for storage, or small car want to tow 4 wheel down or possibly cargo trailer. Would like to take kayaks on our trips. I have a Lance 1191 truck camper,so storage is tuff . When we go across country these are some of my ideas, to make it more comfortable.

Jim Lee commented on led lights. Do you have to do anything to the coach or do you just replace the bulb. Also will the bulbs work on 12 volt or 110?

Check your local military surplus shops for a folding shovel. They may one at a good price. If you like also I have one buried in my shed I can dig out and give to you if your ever passing threw, I don’t use it

Hey James, I just finished updating my bulbs on the RV. It was very easy, just a matter of replacing them. Some of the cheaper ones you get from China take a little more fiddling. I ordered a couple and they were super cheap off Ebay but they had 3m stick-on backing and needed adapters and came with no built in regulation, you can always be DIY and save money modding the fixture to make them work properly, but to me its worth just getting some quality LEDS to start with if you’re not really into electrical stuff.
