Almost finished with my 400 watt solar install !! 1 more panel going up this week. Combiner box with 6 AWG running from roof down black tank vent into the front compartment. 30 A charge controller , in line and Marine breakers 30A, 40A, 80A. 100o Pure signwave inverter. Used Eternabond to pad all the panel mounting feet and a Dicor bed under and on top of them
Also a fantastic fan 7000 series vent above kitchen ( works great all auto)
Thanks to Rays videos and articles ( the layout of the front compartment sure looks familiar !) This will get me setup for my entry into some Boondocking experiences.
Stoked !

I am looking for a wiring diagram for solar panel installation for my 5th wheel Montana including future Inverter. I have installed the 100w Renolgy solar with MPPT Charge controller and two 6V golf cart batteries.

There are many ways to skin a cat so hard to provide a diagram exactly for your particular rig. Here is a basic one showing my early setup. It’s change a lot since then as I have added more things. I plan to do a post in the next month or so showing my current setup with a detailed schematic as it’s reached the stage I’m pretty satisfied with

Finally Finished !! I would recommend Paul use Rays wiring diagram. Its clean simple and safe. Looks good too . That’s the same one I used .
I put my last panel up yesterday and wired them in to the Box and Eterna bonded the wires and sealed with Dicor. Hmmmm whats next ?
I decided to back feed the coach from the inverter using a 50 A round connection to 15A pigtail. Ill just turn off the converter breaker. Just don’t want to get up under there right now
Regards !
