We purchased our 280 RLS Cougar from CW here at Raleigh. Well we bought a true lemon. Love it but it’s been a nightmare at times. Have always dealt with CW of Raleigh with the issues account they have done some dirty work we just found out in the last month. In August 2014 the nose cap faded out and we took it there and they repaired it halfway down not the whole front end. Well in less than a year it looked like crap. We contacted Keystone and then found out that CW had billed them way to much for what they done. Now we took BB (RV) to CW to get her fixed with some more of Keystones crap that went bad the day we bought it and now there work has broke down again. Between Keystone and CW, I have a bad taste. Hate both of them with a passion. I know we are no different than alot of folks with troubles, but we have had it.

We have had a leak in the front grey tank since Dec. and the control panel also was not allowing us to extend awning along with the front cap looking like crap. Nursed it to get back to NC and made a appointment to have things fixed. Appointment date arrives and we take it there and tell them we have 15 days till we schedule to go to Nascar Race in Bristol. No problem. 12 days roll by and I here nothing, call and no reply, day 13 no reply, day 14 no reply, day 15 I call for the forth time and let them know I was coming to get it if I had to pull it off on the rims or the frame. We get there and they had not fixed anything and so to try to smooth things over they tell us we will fix the cap ourselves and the grey tank is ordered and the control panel was also but it required some extra work. Ok, we chill slightly. When we get the part in we will call and make an appointment to fix everything. Well 1 month later my wife’s fit to be tied, no call and she is ready to skin somebody. She calls CW corporate and lays it on them. They call CW in Raleigh and guess where the parts are. Now appointments made 3 weeks later and we take it there and CS person says we need it 2-3 wks. and wife says you got two, you had it two weeks last time and never done nothing. Well two weeks to the day and I start this crap all over again. Call leave a message and no calls and no return emails from CW or corporate. So Finally day 15 we get a call and they have not even touched it. Holly Molly, wife goes in a rage, and I’m ready to scream. I calmly said, CW in Raleigh is pitiful to the two men on the phone. I was so tee’ed I hung up and emailed them back and asked for an update when we might expect our RV. Have now again contacted corporate and explained that I surely hope someday sometime, somebody will fix this. Put as alot of you know, probally ain’t going to happen. Well ya’ll can shop there all ya want but for Lola and I heck no.

I mean it this time Eddie.

    HI Lola and Rush,

Sorry to hear about your issues.I can feel your pain as I went thru the same thing with my PJ car trailer.

I have a thought that may work for you as it has for me in the past.

Have you tried filing a complaint with the State Attorney General’s Office in the State you purchased the camper as well as the State where it was manufactured?.

You might be surprised at the help you get from them.

It’s kinda like the years I spent as an LEO.It was always kind of a joke to hear someone say they complained to a superior officer about another officer. That’s like feeding the rooster in the hen house a donut.I found out real quick that if that same person filed a complaint with P.O.S.T in my State, those superiors stood up and took notice real quick and poopie rolls down hill as they say.

So take your issues out of the hen house and onto the place that does the slaughtering so to speak and I’ll bet your going to end up a real happy camper.

I hope so anyway, cause you folks are just to nice to be treated this way. :bye:

Hey Lola and Rush,a little side note here.

Please don’t tell CW your going to file a complaint with the AT,just do it.

From my experience,I think you’ll get a far better and quicker response.Take Care
