I was wondering if the rubber roof stuff would stop a small leak around the hole in the ceiling where the old ac unit was? I have a friend with an older park model of a travel trailer and it has developed a small leak when it      that is dripping into the trailer around the hole where the old ac used to be. Her son put a metal box on the roof over the hole in the ceiling but when it rains it still leaks. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.  Sorry about not being on here more, but life has a way of getting in the way.

If you mean Eternabond tape. It should do the trick since that’s exactly what the tape is for. Patching roofs. Just make sure the surfaces are very clean and then apply pressure to the tape once laid down to activate the sealant. A seam roller is a good tool for that.

Or you could use Dicor self-leveling lap sealant.

For both things make sure NO silicone is present as nothing sticks to that stuff. ;)

Thanks Ray for the info I’ll check into both of them and see what I find out. I love your site  and hope to get into my RV, class C, soon.
