Big Bend Ranch State Park is located a little further west of its more well-known and visited cousin Big Bend National Park. During our spring 2012 visit to Big Bend NP we had day tripped over to this state park. We were blown away by the amazing scenery as we drove the highway through the park along the Rio Grande. So, during this return trip to the area we just had to revisit Big Bend Ranch State Park and explore it in more depth.
