I am wondering how people journal each trip.  I’m not talking about blogs but personal logs on milages, site info, trailer maintainance or whatever info you might want to remember. :mail:  What layout do you use. Only had 2 small trips with this trailer but I bet there is something I need to do to keep track of items.

We are fixing to take our first big adventure and you have given me a good idea. I believe I’ll use our ipad air and log the journal.

I guess I’m old school, we use a small spiral notebook for all our  trips, been doing this since the 90’s. After the trip, the notebook goes into the file cabinet with backups of photo’s and video. Shopping lists, to do lists, journalling, everything goes in there.

We usually take videos as we’re going down the road and at the camp sites that we stay at.  I did make a Excel spreadsheet with different campgrounds that look promising.  This includes all the amenities;  pull through, 50 amp, wifi, etc.  Another thing that I try to do is rate all RV parks on RV Park Reviews.com

When we got our first RV I made a check sheet of thing to do before we took off down the open road.  This sheet included things like; put down the TV antenna, close all vents, close all windows, check running lights and things like this that could be costly if forgotten.

We're occasional RVers for now, but that's all going to change when I retire in a little over a year.

Just went and looked in the notebook from our first RV trip back in 1989. Not sure that was a good idea……. gas was cheap, campgrounds were cheap, food was cheaper. Would I go back to any of those campgrounds——— not so sure they would be as nice now or then they might be even nicer.

We just got our son a car so now we are free to go whenever we want.  He watches the house and pets while we are gone.  Didn’t want to be gone long as he had no transportation.  Now that is not the case and we are planning trips to go whenever there is a open time between doctor visits.  Want to be able to track whatever we need to.  Notebooks are easy and can add pictures of each place.  Want to be sure to set the journal up correctly the first time with whatever items we need/want to “remember”.  Thanks for the ideas.
