RV vacuums

We just returned from our first long trip in our RV.  We took along a mini electric vacuum which we discovered didn’t do the job.  We are now in the market for another sweeper that will do the carpet and be small enough to sweep around the bed and even have a removeable hand-held part to do the floors around the gas pedal, etc.  What sort of suggestions can you seasoned campers/snow birds give me?

We have a dirt devil central vacuum cleaner and it works pretty good on carpet floors, Our has several attachments to get in all the nooks and crannies. They are easy to install. One trick is install in the middle of the coach so the hose will be easy to move to the front and back.

I have a Eureka Easy Clean that might work 120v.  Not a standup vacuum but has carpet rotating brush (which can be turned off for hard floors) and hose with a wand attachment nicely tucked into the base.
