I use Dicor Self-Leveling Lap Sealant.

Try to get as much of the old stuff off as you can then clean it real well with isopropyl alcohol. The Dicor will cover everything and self level. Good Stuff. The other option is Eternabond Tape, never tried it myself but heard it’s pretty good. – http://www.eternabond.com/RV-Leak-Repair-Products-s/22.htm

Nice I love these vintage rigs! I brother in-law had one of these ten years ago and we had a great time in it for 8 years, until a tree fall on it in a storm.

Kick the tires, light the fires and hit the road!!

Thank you Ray for the helpful hints. I’ll have to check to see what the low temp rating is to use either product. We are in a snowstorm at the moment, 25mph winds with higher gusts and growing.

    Hello Rick,

The biggest worry and the only one is a tree fall so it will have insurance, just in case. It it unbelievable clean but I sure need to swap out the fridge.

    Hello Steve and Dianne,

That is a lot of toys. I wouldn’t want your gas mileage for any of them. Sure looks like you both have lots of fun.

We started with an older motorhome, but decided to buy the truck and 5er, as we could get newer for about the same amount of money, love it so far.

We started out new on both, we had a truck camper before on my 1500, was just not enough room so we upgraded to a 5er and really love it.We went new because we didnt want anybody elses problem that may have come with used, not that used is bad. We just like new. You look like you have a nice setup too. We looked into buying a Heartland it was a tossup and we liked the floor plan we got with the High Country.
