The dealer is another tricky situation. Since we’ll be living in the 5’er and traveling full time we will almost never be near our dealer. Grand Design doesn’t bat an eye at sending a mobile RV tech to you to work on warranty items. Remember, Grand Design was started by Keystone execs who sold off Keystone and started a new RV company the way they thought it should be from scratch. The Montanas are nice but are bigger and heavier than I really want.
I am new to this forum, but just read this entire topic. There is great information on here!
So, if you went with the Solitude, how are you liking it? Is it working for you as a full timer?

We haven’t bought it yet. Life has taken a left turn so we’ve had to delay. Still going with the Solitude just have to wait a while longer. We really like the floor plan and space in the Solitude models. We’re still going back and forth on the length though. ![]()
What about Augusta-RV? We spoke with them and they have a 33 ft model now.
We are retired as of July 1st. 2015.
Never really looked into Augusta. I’ll check it out.
Just checked their website and I don’t see anything less than 36 feet. Spendy too!
We call them and they told us of a new unit.
We are retired as of July 1st. 2015.
Got it. I’ll just wait and see when they update their website.
I see Grand Design changed their website so the images I posted on page 3 are gone. They came out with another model that we like too. So we’re really trying to decide between these two so far…
