In this video, I give you a look at and some info about the Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area and it’s Virgin River Canyon BLM campground. At the end is a slide show of photos taken during our visit

There are views of the amazingly rugged scenery surrounding the area and Joshua trees in full bloom.

The campground is located between Mesquite, Nevada and St. George, Utah and very accessible off Interstate 15.

We camped here in mid-March 2016 and the weather was perfect with highs in the seventies. The campground has no hookups but very well laid out with spacious paved sites.

There are several small hiking trails and a few longer ones for the more adventurous. You’ll also find a day use picnic area, makes a great rest stop or lunch break.

Camping is only $8 per night or $4 with a National Park or Golden Age Pass. Great deal!
