David and I own several guns…rifles and pistols, my question is when we go full time rv what gun laws apply? If we keep our gun safe, which is locked in our 5th wheel is that kosher, or do we have to abide by each state’s laws?

It’s my understanding that there are several opinions on this…. Which most gun owners seem of a mind to, make their own minds up what to do. Our RVs are our homes. Unless you cross over into Canada. You might want to check out the laws for each state of the USA, just to see what they are….. Of course it’s on the internet..

I do NOT have a concealed license, for privacy reasons.  I DO, however, keep my gun available in the Lurch.  It is my home.  I will defend myself and Chewbacca.  They might get a spray of rock salt if I catch ‘em stealing from me, though.

As a gun owner and collector, you will have to follow the laws of each state. Keep in mind some states  have limits on how big the ammo clips are. Certain style guns are outlawed in some states. You can go on line to find the rules and laws of each state. Also having a concealed license only means you can carry in the state it is issued. Some states accept other states but not all. Example Texas is accepted by New Mexico and Arizona but not California. Do a lot of research.

Your welcome Melody. Good luck on the gun research. If you need help let me know and i will see what i can find. Somewhere in my desktop or laptop. I been to a site that listed all the states rules. When my wife travels by herself i look the states up to see if she will be ok carrying a firearm. If there is any you want to sell let me know lol.
