When an old Scotsman (or a young one for that matter) can save a buck, it’s a good day. I keep an electric hot plate tucked away in a bin. When we are plugged in, the landlord is paying to cook my meals. The propane savings can add up, especially for the snowbirds that are parked for a long period of time. Mine cost me $29.00 at Canadian Tire.

    Good tip Ray.

A slow cooker is another way to save the propane, use it instead of an oven.
