What the heck is this? Is that the front of a 5th wheel with a little vinyl storage room??? OMG!!! I want one, too!

It’s quite interesting to see all the different types of walls that have been assembled to use the front of the fifth wheel as a little storage area. Most of the year round folks have the whole trailer walled in underneath to help with heating in the winter months. They have great little decks built as well. I’ll have to take some photos of the nicer ones.
Yup, that’s what they look like here, except the LP gas tanks are bigger, some truck comes around and fills them.

Do they make skirts for Class C to keep the cold out?
They are mostly a trailer thing, where folks are staying for months in a cold climate, trailers have pretty poor insulation beneath them so skirting really helps keep them warmer.
I’m gonna get one of those Rubbermaid storage thingees, too, if I stay anywhere long enough. Only problem with that is, if you fill it up, then you have to declutter when you get ready to go again.

What Rubbermaid things are you referring to?
Our C has heated holding tanks which we used last winter when we were out in Western NY in late November and on vacation in February this year. Had no trouble with freezing, but we were in motion much of the time. We still want to look into skirting if we’re full timing somewhere chilly for a few months.
