    Hubby has a question: will a battery with a frozen cell hold a charge? Or is it toast? Pulled ours out of  RV and one cell frozen on each. Anyone?

    I had a look at the Trojan Battery website, they usually have pretty good information. Unfortunately they say..

    In extremely cold climates, batteries stored outdoors may be subjected to
    freezing. Freezing usually results in irreparable damage to the plates and
    containers. It is therefore imperative that batteries that are subjected to
    freezing temperatures be stored fully charged or at a high state of charge

    thanks Ray- Gerry said he has to wait till it unthaws and then charge to see if it will hold. :pray:
