You will notice down on the right corner a new live chat control. Going to test it out for the next few days and see how it goes.

I like it.  Is there a way to make it stay on top, so it doesn’t close while you’re perusing the HH?

hmm.. it stays on top for me, I’ve only tested it in Chrome and Firefox on my laptop so far tho. It’s a pretty new product so still in active development, I really like the look of it and simplicity of it.

Oh, I see what you mean , when you navigate away to a new page you lose the chatroom and have to reopen. I’ll ask support about that.

OK, I’ve decided on and installed a  live chat software package for RVHH. It is called CometChat and will allow us to chat real-time if we so desire. It meshes well with the website. When you log in to RVHH it will log you into chat. You will see a bar at the bottom on the page. Settings are on the right, as well as who is online. On the left is the chat rooms. I have setup a permanent one called The Campfire, but you can create your own.

If you don’t want to participate in the chat , no problem just set yourself offline in the settings at the bottom right and click the little down arrow, to get rid of the bar.

This chat works with browsers on laptops and desktops, if you want to use it on a phone or tablet there is a free app to install, search the app sites for “CometChat” install it and enter rvhappyhour.com, your RVHH username and password and bang you will be connected to the chats. :)

I’ll be coming out with a video soon explaining the features of this chat thingy. I think its a pretty cool extra feature for RVHH.
