Very nice! Love the look of it.

I would like to know the before and after weight figures. This particular reno looks like a fiver that stays put so they can go hog wild.

I see quite a few of these gorgeous RV renos but not many are posting the weight changes to the RV. Part of the reason RV interiors are so cheesy looking is they use very light weight materials.

You really have to watch that, because if you are overloaded, higher than the stickers GVWR and have an accident it can void the insurance. The insurance company will have all the pieces from a crash picked up and weighed.

It’s amazing how weight can creep up. also you can end up overloading one side of the RV and change the handling characteristics and get tire blow outs or suspension failures.

Hi Norma, nice remodel! Looks to me like they mainly used paint on the walls and some wallpaper in the slideouts. The couch may be heaver but the dining table looks smaller/lighter. When I remodeled our 5er I just knew we were over doing it on the weight but with real wood and better insulating materials we were at the same as before. The OEM was press board and “trash” pine studs that can jack up the tear weight on construction.

The main reason RV company’s use this type of materials is because of price and ease of use in installation, RVs could be made better if every one wasn’t trying to steal each other blind and stupid.

Some day we will get brave and make a 5er from scratch, our way!

    Happy Trails!!!

Some people just have a “touch” to make a place “home.”  Looks great.

Sure looks nice, as Margo said like a home!  I agree with Ray though,  doubt they are planning on moving it around too often!
