We’re packing out travel trailer in couple of weeks to head out to Eugene from PA for some weeks on the west coast. The plan is to park (mostly) in the Eugene area and do day trips to a number of destinations in OR. Right now we’re trying to get recommendations for a good campground near Eugene to act as our base. Any suggestions?

Thanks Larry. We did a similar trip about 7 years ago but stayed on the coast at Newport and didn’t really explore inland. We’re looking forward to some new areas and photos are definitely on the list.

We live in California and have made several trips into Oregon.. Bought our fifth wheel in junction city, just outside Eugene. Oregon is a pretty big state and they have really nice county Parks that have full hookups in some, check out http://www.reserve america.com you’ll need the counties name. I would think about staying in another location but that’s just me. Or pick 2, 3 or even 4 locations if you are planning on exploring the whole state…. Don’t miss Oregon coast. Have fun!
