I think that’s in a Casita and it looks like they added some kinda carpet/fuzzy stuff probably for insulation on the ceiling. Sucks up all the light in that photo, doesn’t it…?
They did talk about enlarging the groove that the lights were installed in to throw more light into the room. Might be worth it if your vent is in a good spot for that. Mine is way back by the kitchen which already has pretty good light.
Just thought about Ray, because he just did the Fantastic Fan mod…and the power is right there!

I just put my rope lights around our sofa slide out. I love the glow, it doesn’t really light up much but when you come into the RV it’s not totally dark!
I’m right there with ya. I’m going to be using some rope lighting of my own!!
If you look at some of the REALLY high end RVs…they use it along lots of the walls for ambient light.
