Buyer beware. We all get in those situations where you purchase something used and alittle concerned how it was taking care of. Well last year we purchased our class a and purchased an extended warranty. The company is ACC rv warranty. You know when they say its to good to be true. Well it got us in the butt big time. Warranty covered everything except basic maintenance which made sense to me. Offered warranty on tires I was surprised and offered unlimited tow mileage. I thought the last one was really surprising. As all things go its cheaper to purchase in full instead of payments so we decided to pay in full for 5 years $5500.

LAst trip to Taos New Mexico the front roof a/c smelt burnt. (turned it off didn’t use it) Door Awning broke a sheer pin and wouldn’t close. ( had to remove ) Leveling system showed legs down when they were up. So when we got back home decided to put it in the shop. Told shop run estimates and we will turn in for repairs. Two weeks now calling warranty company and emailing and faxing no answer on any. Shop has been nice and also trying off and on throw out the days.

This weekend did a lot of online research and wow they sold out to another company. Even more wow they didn’t say who they sold to. I told the wife when a company sells they say so and so purchased us. This one didn’t. More on line research now. OMG the attorney general of the State of Indiana is getting numerous complaints and is planning a suit against them and needs people to come form and file. WOW the company has changed names numerous times in the past. Red flag big time. Damn I knew I should of done some more research before making the purchase.

Remember do your research and when you think you did it well do it again.  Also don’t consider buying from ACC rv warranty. If anyone has this insurance your welcome to ask for info into contacting the attorney general and I can get you the information.

Dealer called with estimates, glad I was sitting down. $2800. new front a/c, replace motor for door awning., rear air bag broken fitting, dash a/c two valves broken. replace something on fridge to switch to propane. All out of pocket but in the long run, it needs to be done. I have to give this dealer a lot of credit, After telling them about the warrantee issues they ended up cutting labor in half. Thank goodness. Half the work is already completed just waiting on new a/c and awning parts to come in. Filled out papers for INdiana attorney general, just now hope we can get something back from all this mess

That is a good dealer that will help out with the costs.  Why not post the dealers name and location?  Good advertising for them and in a way pays them back for helping with the costs.  Tell the dealer about posting to the site if you choose to do that.

So sorry about your situation, James, good luck with the law suit.  This is good advice to know to do your research!. alot of times when you buy something it is an on the spot right now buy the extended warranty so you don’t always get to take the time to research. would like to know the dealers name also for future reference when we get more serious about buying our rv

Fun Country Rv and Marine, Anthony Tx, Exit O on I10 Texas New Mexico line. Service manager is Ceasar. The are a small dealer mainly deal with trailers and boats. Only Class a they sell are used ones turned in on trade but they are willing to work on anything. I have known Ceasar since 1999 when he was employeed at another dealership. He came to Fun Country to stay with a family setting. If your unsure of location you can google camping world Anthony Texas, Fun Country is on opposite side of freeway. http://www.funcountryrvs.com/ .
