Glad you guys are safe, sorry about the damage. Some days you set out for an adventure and get more than you bargained for!

October 10, 2014 at 6:36 am #6556Yep Roger, Just gives us room for more “re-MOD’S” ideas!?!?!?!?
I never loved the wimpy thin lower side panels that keystone puts on there RV’s. It also took out the plastic fabric and inslatition under the sub floor were the slide-out goes in and out. I can’t figure out why my stock trailer, flatbed trailer, and box trailer have stout wheel wells and just about all RV trailers just cover the outside with a plastic “Pretty” plastic cover. I’m going to have to think on this on for awhile??????? I think I’ll move up to a load range”J” trailer tire for insurance of my wife’s state of mind.
The tires are around 4-years old but I think the tire blew when we ran over small peaces of a “Big Truck” blow-out.
Thanks Roger for the concern.
Happy Trails!!!

October 10, 2014 at 4:05 pm #6565Hmmmm, some aluminum checker plate would be light and a lot tougher, takes a nice polish as well. I know the wheel wells on mine are just sheet metal screwed to the floor of the trailer, already had to seal them as I could see daylight.
