RV Cleaning Tip – The Many Uses for a Simple Green Cleaner

    http://www.loveyourrv.com/rv-cleaning-tip-the-many-uses-for-a-simple-green-cleaner/

Over the years through the RVers grapevine I had heard a product called Simple Green mentioned over and over. Almost any time a question was posed asking for cleaning advice several people would chime in recommending Simple Green.

Finally, I picked up a bottle to try it for myself and I have to say “wow!” they were right.

What took me so long to give it a go?

I initially bought it to clean some very stubborn black streaks that developed on my front fiberglass trailer cap and a few stains on the awning. It worked so well I’ve tried it on all sorts of other things around the RV with also great results.

Yes, two thumbs up on Simple Green! My Mom and Dad hooked me on it long back when I was a kid. Flat good stuff for removing greasy stuck on stuff, pine tar oil, ect.

    Happy Trails!!!

I have had better luck with “LA’s Totally Awesome“. All around great cleaner. I bought it at most dollar stores.

I generally make my own cleaner (for inside). I take a spray bottle, add about a cup of vinegar and about a tablespoon of Dawn dish detergent and then fill up with water. It is non toxic, antibacterial. If you want it to smell good, add a few drops of essential oil of your choice. Lavender is always nice.

My doctor told me to stop using the commercial cleaners because they were affecting my lungs. I had a bed & breakfast for 10 years and after the first couple of years, I noticed breathing difficulties when cleaning. It was the commercial cleaners.

Vinegar really refreshes things and if you add the essential oil, leavings things smelling nice.
