I never have 12 seconds…my laundry basket always has something dirty in it. Why is that? There are only two humans and two dogs in our house, I guess we are just a messy family!
Or maybe you’re just cleaner than the rest of us…maybe I have dirty stuff on the floor somewhere when the laundry is “done.” hahahahha

I find this to be true with dishes in my house, also! I clear the counter- put all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I walk out of the kitchen for two seconds, come back to find dirty dishes on the counter!-Nancy
