My monitor panel failed.  I found the fuse which was 3 amp.  I replaced it with a 3 amp which blew upon insertion.

James mentioned something that made me wonder if 3 amp is the right size.  I can’t find the spec. on that.  Does anyone know or at least know what yours is?

George. I have an 05 Fleetwood discovery 39 ft class a. I will locate my fuse for the panel and see what size mine is and get back to you. To make sure I am on the same page as you, are you referring to the monitor that you check water levels, battery power, propane levels. on my rig that monitor is located on the right side of the tv when you walk in the front door.

George. I did some fast googling at work and of course its HARD to get any information on fleetwoods. I ran into other people saying 3 amp fuse. One thing I noticed on a lot of forums was everyone was saying remove panel and inspect all connections

FYI also you can go to an auto parts store and by an electrical spray. I used one once on my headlight on my car and boy do they work cleaning dirt and grim, Plush it evaporates fast. Little went a long way

Thanks James.  I couldn’t do it quite like you suggested but was able to pin it down to the red and white wire on the fuse panel which I think goes to the fresh water tank.  I will break into that compartment tomorrow.

Just by way of interest, even with the entire monitor panel disconnected I showed a ground (current flow) at the fuse panel in the engine compartment.  Therefore I think it is obvious that I have a short downline between the fuse and the (disconnected) panel.

Thanks for researching this as I wanted to be sure of the 3 amp fuse.
